Missions

As a church we are certain that God's plan is not just for the Gospel to impact our community here in the West of Ireland, but that the good news of Jesus would have local, regional, national and international impact. For this reason, we assist a number of organisations that are sharing the good news of Jesus in various parts of the world. Please click on the links below to find out more.

Elim Missions Ireland are currently responsible for supporting the work of Elim Missions in Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Congo, Swaziland, Mozambique and Zambia.  Within these countries Elim Missions have missionaries and local pastors who give of their time and gifting to reach out to the local communities through Church Planting, Orphanages, Schools, Medical facilities, feeding prgrams and many other ways.

 

 

Tiglin Challenge is based on the principles of the Teen Challenge Christian based organisation which started caring for troubled youth in New York City in 1958 by David Wilkerson Author of “The Cross and the Switchblade”. The program now has over 500 Teen Challenge Centres in 90 different countries worldwide.
Tiglin Challenge strives to help the ‘whole person’, not just the substance abuse. The Tiglin Challenge

approach is to teach a whole new way of living by addressing family relationships, work attitudes, self image, peer pressure, temptation, community relationships and a variety of other life skills

Beautiful Kidz Namibia is an international, interdenominational Christian organisation, providing care and support to needy children and their families.
 

The ministry provides emotional, spiritual, physicaland educational care to children in need and their families.   Beautiful Kidz Namibia supports families and communities through giving practical assistance, theoretical training and discipleship.

Team Hope is an Irish, interdenominational Christian development aid charity. Best known for their Annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal. Working with children, and through them, into their families and communities in Eastern Europe, former Soviet Union and Africa. Team

Hope also help children all year round (many in families surviving on less than €1 a day) through a variety of community development projects.

Church in Chains is an independent Irish-based charity (CHY 15443) which encourages Irish Christians to pray and act in support of persecuted Christians worldwide, with a special focus on CHINA, EGYPT, 

 

ERITREA, INDIA, IRAN, NIGERIA, NORTH KOREA, PAKISTAN, TURKEY and UZBEKISTAN.Church in Chains publishes the latest news in a quarterly magazine, a weekly email update and on this website.

Church in Chains works with a number of international partners in prayer and advocacy campaigns (by means of letters, petitions, vigils, meetings with Ambassadors etc.) on behalf of persecuted Christians.Church in Chains channels aid to families of prisoners and  provides Bibles, Christian literature and assistance to Christians who are in poor circumstances because of their faith.

 

 

 

The Rose of Sharon Ministries is an evangelical, Christian ministry, that ministers in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, through a ministry of evangelism and works of mercy. Ministry takes place throughout South Africa
